About Nevil Hagon
I have been sketching for as long as I can remember, and it was my Late father who first suggested I use colour in my artwork. From using oils in my teens and early 20's I migrated to watercolours, and have been using this medium for some 30 years. I am self-taught, and paint for pleasure as an antidote to the pressures and pace of life and work in general! They say practice makes perfect, and I am still developing as an artist in watercolour - I hope I never stop so long as I can hold a paintbrush! I hope to add new works to this page, and add in links, photos to the places and things that inspire me to paint. If you like any of the images, paintings may be purchased (POA); or if you have a favourite place or subject you would like me to paint, I will consider commissions. I live in Selsdon, South Croydon.
